Bart Caldwell joined BBS as an Electrical Engineer in 2003 after beginning his career in 1994 as a Telecom Network Engineer. While working in the telecommunications field, Bart acquired extensive experience in the design and implementation of communication facilities. As a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) he has demonstrated proficiency in the design and implementation of a variety of structured cabling network systems. Bart’s RCDD registration ensures clients that he’ll design a reliable and flexible telecommunication distribution system. Bart is also a licensed Electrical Engineer and has successfully completed the SKM Power Systems Design and Analysis course. He has experience designing both low- and medium-voltage electrical power systems, as well as lighting, fire alarm and security systems. His formal training and experience enable him to design safe, reliable and cost-effective electrical systems.

Bart enjoys running, golf, ISU sports, history, and DIY projects. Bart lives by the philosophy that persistence pays off and has great memories of hiking the Highline Trail at Glacier National Park. He is from Onawa, IA and has a dog named Toby and three children, Stephanie, Jacob, and Sam.
