Architect | Sr. Associate

Bryan has made an impact across a wide range of clients in commercial, corporate, educational (Pre-K through higher education), multi-family, civic, health care, and residential project types in Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Hawaii.  His 23 years of experience covers all facets of pre-design programming, design, project management, and construction administration.

Bryan has a joyful ease around people, and is genuinely driven to learn about and build strong relationships with his clients leading to a deeper understanding of their aspirations and needs.  His ability to build relationships is strong amongst our design team and consultants as well, which helps him fuel the group’s effort to go “above and beyond” for our clients and each other.  Bryan’s goal is to elevate our creativity and delivery beyond our client’s expectations. He greatly enjoys seeing their pride in their new space at the end of another successful project.

After being raised across the states, from Hawaii to Virginia, Bryan was lucky enough to marry his Iowa native wife Michelle. They made their way to Des Moines after stopping in Oklahoma and Kauai, Hawaii. Bryan has stayed true to his Alma Mater and continues to be a die hard Oklahoma State fan. When not having fun at BBS, Bryan spends his time with Michelle keeping up with their 3 kids' sports schedules, playing guitar, and exploring the world through his camera.
