Jacob is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture at Iowa State University with minors in Cultural Preservation & Heritage and French. He is expected to graduate in May 2024. He enjoys the opportunities he has at school to foster his creativity while developing a strong understanding of architecture and design. In the Spring of 2023, he was fortunate to be able to study abroad in ISU’s Rome Studios where he gained valuable experience in learning from European architecture and Ancient Roman history. When he isn’t working on studio projects, he participates in various clubs and student organizations on campus. He also has previous intern experience in HVAC engineering and construction.
Jacob is from Ankeny, IA and currently living in Ames, IA. He loves traveling, especially to National Parks. His favorite parks to date are Glacier National Park and the Great Sand Dunes. At home, he enjoys baking, going to festivals and farmers markets Downtown, and camping. His apartment doesn’t allow dogs, otherwise he would have a dog, too!
