Kaela has worked on a variety of interior and exterior renovation projects. Kaela enjoys working with a strong team that builds lasting relationships. She believes trusting relationships and open communication lead to successful projects. Kaela enjoys continuing to learn and understand how the built environment can be ever changing and adapting as those who use those spaces are also rapidly changing. Her graphic, written, and oral communication abilities allow her to effectively listen to varied opinions, craft responsive design solutions, and clearly express her ideas resulting in successful project solutions. Since working at BBS, Kaela has been working to bring out the unique office culture that makes BBS who we are.

Kaela is originally from Humboldt, IA and now lives in Urbandale with her husband, two kids, and dog Zoey. Kaela cheers for the ISU Cyclones and spends most of the fall watching football. Her favorite trip was studying in Rwanda, Africa. Kaela loves spending time outdoors with her family and watching her young kids grow and learn!
