Architect

Noah joined the firm as a student intern in the summer of 2018 and graduated from Iowa State University in 2020 with his Bachelor of Architecture and minors in both music and Spanish. Noah is one of the youngest architects, having earned his license at age 23. He strives to bring an innovative perspective to projects at all phases, working to improve not only the final design but the processes used to create those outcomes. This effort is accomplished by implementing contemporary methods ranging from BIM and polygonal modeling to parametric and generative design. Noah recognizes that responsible design is not optional, but a necessity to ensure a bright and sustainable future as he works to improve broader project impact on human health and wellbeing, community resilience, environmental sustainability, and more. Noah is proficient in BIM and has developed a library of Dynamo visual programming scripts for the firm. He has experience in a variety of typologies, including higher education,  outdoor recreation, commercial projects, and more. Noah is eager to learn and passionate about finding ways to incorporate sustainability, equity, and human-centric design to any and all projects.

Noah was born and raised in Urbandale, IA, and currently lives in the East Village with his Fiancé Ana and their ever-growing (pun intended) collection of houseplants. Despite being raised in a divided household, Noah cheers for Iowa State. When not in the office, you can find him cycling, playing the clarinet and the piano, experimenting with new recipes, or creating digital art. His favorite trip was visiting the UK and Ireland with the ISU Wind Ensemble in 2018. His favorite podcasts are 99% Invisible, Gastropod, and Criminal. He currently listens to Two Door Cinema Club and The Strokes among (many, many) others.
