A project engineer for complex, technically demanding projects, Susan excels at teamwork, coordination and communication. Her project design experience includes office buildings, correctional facilities, data centers, laboratories, and institutional facilities. Career highlights include leading the engineering team on the design and construction of Wells Fargo Arena / HyVee Hall in downtown Des Moines, and any project that involves a crane lifting her big equipment. She has extensive experience working with local, state, and federal government clients, as well as (very!) long term corporate clients. A number of Susan’s projects are multi-building campuses, for which she has designed the central mechanical plants and distribution systems for heating and cooling.
