Phase IV of the renovation of the 1932-era building 3 involved extensive interior renovation for the VAMC director’s suite. As some of the building’s functions are deemed “mission critical,” appropriate physical security measures were applied in accordance with the Physical Security Design Manual for VA Facilities. BBS performed architectural and electrical engineering design services. All documentation was produced utilizing BIM technology. The design services also included compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation and coordination with the State Historic Preservation Office.
