Client Need:
The Farm Bureau Center in Eagan, Minnesota is a 24,000 square foot, slab-on-grade single story office building. The project is located on a hillside site overlooking a residential lake, and utilizes prairie grass extensively in its landscaping plan.
BBS Approach:
The design team was actively involved in programming and planning sessions with the owner and users of the building. The team worked with a construction manager and local contractors, using a fast-track design process to start construction within one month after beginning construction documents The building was occupied nine months later.
