Meredith is a fifth-year Architecture student at Iowa State University. She is passionate about creating thoughtful and impactful design solutions that balance creativity and functionality by designing with an emphasis on historical and urban context. Meredith's love for art, history, and math has led her to fall in love with architecture and its intricacies in everyday life. This summer at BBS, Meredith is excited to gain hands-on experience in a multidisciplinary design environment, learn from industry professionals, and further develop her technical skills. She is excited to contribute to projects that make a lasting impact while expanding her understanding of the design process in a professional setting.
Originally from Enumclaw, Washington, Meredith has had a love for the outdoors from a very early age. Outside of design, she enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, or just reading a book in a hammock. Spending time with her family and friends fuels her inspiration and allows her to keep seeing the beauty in the world around her.
